Relational Growth Group
Expressions of interest are now open for the group.

How do you experience yourself when you are with other people? What happens when you want to connect, express yourself, feel understood, or find your place among others?
The Relational Growth Group offers an opportunity to explore yourself through the experience of being part of a group. Rather than simply talking about relationships, we will pay attention to what happens as we meet and interact with one another.
Through experiential activities, conversation and reflection, you will have space to become more curious about yourself, recognise familiar ways of relating and explore different possibilities for connecting with others.
You don't need to have a particular problem to work on or know exactly what you hope to gain. Just an openness to exploring yourself and your experience with others is a good place to begin.
Who is the group for?
This group is for adults who would like to deepen their self-awareness, understand more about how they relate to others, and explore new possibilities in their relationships.
You might be curious about patterns that repeat in your relationships, how you experience yourself around other people, or how you navigate connection, closeness and difference. Or perhaps you simply want to understand yourself better through meeting and engaging with others.
What might you explore?
-
How you experience yourself in the presence of others
-
The ways you approach connection, closeness and difference
-
How you express yourself, communicate your needs and respond to others
-
Patterns that emerge in your relationships
-
New ways of understanding yourself and relating to other people
The group provides an opportunity to learn not just through reflection, but through noticing and exploring your experience as it unfolds in relationship with others.
Who will facilitate the group?
The group will be facilitated by Lynne Brighouse and Marie Fitzpatrick, two experienced UKCP-accredited Gestalt therapists. We will offer a supportive and thoughtful space in which you can explore your experience, learn from encounters with others and develop your understanding of yourself and your relationships.
